"Christmas, Kwanzaa, and the Jewish holidays - I think these are the types of holidays that people think they need to send a (paper) card," said Marianne McDermott, executive vice president of the Greeting Card Association. Others believe that e-cards are not appropriate for tradition-rich holidays like Christmas.
